About this route
The middle part of the Natchez Trace Parkway, from the Parkway visitor centre at Tupelo south through rural Mississippi to Ridgeland, just north of Jackson. Long, easy curves through woods and fields, past the Cypress Swamp and along the Ross Barnett Reservoir at the end. The Parkway has a 50 mph limit (lower in places), no trucks and no fuel stations: you leave it at the exits to fill up. Watch for deer and for cyclists.
Check road conditions, closures and opening dates before you ride.
