Route disclaimer

Motarva is not responsible for the accuracy, safety, legality, or condition of any routes shared on the platform. Routes are created and uploaded by community members and have not been independently verified by Motarva. Road conditions, traffic regulations, accessibility, and hazards may change at any time without notice.

Before riding any route, you should:

Verify that the route is suitable for your vehicle, experience level, and current conditions
Check local traffic laws and road closures
Assess weather and road surface conditions on the day of your ride
Ensure your motorcycle is in proper working order
Wear appropriate protective gear at all times
Carry valid insurance and documentation

Ride at your own risk

Motorcycling is an inherently dangerous activity. You ride entirely at your own risk. Motarva, its founders, employees, contributors, and affiliated partners accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, death, property damage, loss, or any other consequence arising from the use of routes, navigation, or any other information provided on this platform.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Accidents, injuries, or fatalities occurring while following a route
Damage to your vehicle caused by road conditions on a listed route
GPS or navigation errors, inaccuracies, or signal loss
Routes that pass through restricted, private, or closed roads
Changes in road infrastructure that render a route unsafe or impassable
Fines or penalties resulting from traffic violations on a listed route

Navigation and GPS

The navigation features provided by Motarva (including GPX files, turn-by-turn directions, and map overlays) are tools to assist your ride, not replacements for your own judgement. GPS data may contain inaccuracies, and routes may not reflect current road conditions. Always prioritise real-world road signs, traffic signals, and your own assessment of safety over any digital navigation guidance.

User-generated content

Routes, reviews, ratings, and other content on Motarva are contributed by community members. We do not endorse, guarantee, or verify the accuracy of user-generated content. Difficulty ratings and route descriptions are subjective and may not match your personal experience or skill level.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Motarva shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, property damage, loss of data, or loss of profits.

Indemnification

By using Motarva, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Motarva and its team from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

Account deletion & data retention

You may permanently delete your account at any time from your account settings
Upon deletion, all personal data including your profile, XP, badges, reviews, favorites, and vehicles are permanently removed
All routes (published, draft, and private) and their associated images are retained as anonymized community content and attributed to "Deleted User". This ensures the community continues to benefit from shared routes
Account deletion is irreversible and cannot be undone

Changes to this disclaimer

We reserve the right to update this disclaimer at any time. Continued use of Motarva after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
