From Troutdale via Sandy up US-26 to Government Camp on the slopes of Mount Hood, then around the east side of the mountain on Highway 35 over Bennett Pass and down into the orchards of the Hood River valley. Sweeping mountain curves with Mount Hood in view for much of the way. US-26 is busy on weekends, and in winter snow and chain rules are common on both passes.
