Kaibab Plateau – North Rim Parkway: Jacob Lake – North Rim
Along this route
About this route
Highway 67 from Jacob Lake across the Kaibab Plateau to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Easy, open curves through pine and aspen forest and long meadows at 2,400 to 2,700 m, with deer along the road. It is a dead end: you ride back the same way. Closed in winter, usually from December to mid May, and the North Rim has had longer closures, so check the NPS site. Fuel at Jacob Lake.
Check road conditions, closures and opening dates before you ride.
