Fuel, food and viewpoints along your route

Last updated October 17, 2026

In the Route Maker's POIs tab you see places along your route in kilometre order: fuel, food, views, passes and more. One tap adds a place as a stop.

  1. Draw or generate a route, then open the POIs tab.
  2. Under Along the route you see places in kilometre order. Fuel, views and mountain passes are on by default. Under Categories you can add food and drink, castles, places to stay, motorcycle shops (Moto) or EV charging. Your choice also applies to the maps elsewhere on Motarva.
  3. Tap Stop next to a place, or open the place and tap Add as a stop. It goes into your route as a named stop, where the detour is smallest.

Named stops go into your GPX, TCX and FIT downloads and show on the route page.

Places that are not on your route

To see places elsewhere on the map, zoom in and tap Search this area.

The places come from OpenStreetMap. Opening hours and details can be out of date, so check before you count on a fuel stop. Adding your own places is not possible yet.
