  1. In the Route Maker click Save.
  2. Give your route a name and choose Who can see it:
    • Only me: private. You can share it later.
    • Anyone with the link: not in search or on the map, but anyone with the link can open it.
    • Everyone: on the map and in search.
  3. Add a description if you like: what makes the route worth riding, where to stop.
  4. Click Save, or Keep as draft if you want to finish it later.

After saving you get View Route, Copy Link and Download.

Change it later

On your route’s page you can change who sees it (there the choices are called Private, Link only and Public), edit it, or delete it. Your drafts and routes are under My Routes and on your profile.

XP

A route earns XP the first time it becomes public. You can make a limited number of routes public each day. Saving a route for yourself or sharing it by link does not count.

Frequently asked questions

Who sees an unlisted route?

Only people who have its link. It is not in search, the route list or on the map.

Can I make a public route private again?

Yes, on the route page. It then disappears from search and the map.
